On February 23, 2017 two members of our BHM team, Trudi Brown and Shauna Tucker, were invited to be guest speakers and shared their knowledge at the monthly Victoria Legal Support Staff Association (VLSA) meeting.
As Family Day has recently passed, the VLSA members thought it would be appropriate to have a family law themed meeting and called upon our experts to share their knowledge. Michael Magone from the Court Registry was another guest speaker who shared their knowledge through many helpful tips and provided a few laughs. Michael spoke about desk order divorces while Shauna spoke about the benefits of Judicial Case Conferences and Trudi spoke about the importance of Financial Statements and ethics.
VLSA meetings are held each month with different guest speakers providing information to share their knowledge with local support staff about many educational topics.
