A few of our team members took the opportunity to switch out their lawyer hats for a different kind of hat…

Kay, Shauna, Sam de Wit and Sam Rappoport attended the Mad Hatters Ball, a fund raiser for the Boys and Girls Club at Bear Mountain on March 11, 2017.  Kay was the lucky winner of an autographed Seahawks football at the silent auction. A fun event for a worthwhile cause.

About the Boys and Girls Clubs

Boys and Girls Club Services of Greater Victoria runs a full continuum of programs that respond to the specific needs of youth and their families in Greater Victoria.  It is the safety and support the Boys and Girl Clubs provide through its programs, and the specific environments created that let youth know they are valued and can achieve their potential.

Youth and Justice Services Program

Boys and Girls Club Services of Greater Victoria is the designated Youth Justice Services provider for South Vancouver Island (Duncan South). These programs and services are funded by the Ministry for Children and Families and require a Youth Probation Officer or Court Judge referral to access. Our Coastline Challenges and Youth Justice Care Home (Bail Beds) accept referrals province wide. Coastline Challenges receives approximately 75% of its referrals from outside of the region and our residential care home beds are mostly a region wide resource along with the  Youth Justice Day Program and ISSP (in conjunction with VYCS). We offer a single point of entry service model as a way to streamline and expedite the referral process.
